I have three grand children from my daughters. My precious grandson who just turned three, is my joy. His name is Ayden Oliver! I retired after thirty-six years of working in the education field as: teacher; building assistant for student affairs/Skiles Junior High; assistant principal/Skiles Junior High; principal, professional development coordinator; administrative leadership support team member, and currently as an educational consultant. I have always valued working with youngsters, and anyone who is seemingly in need of improvement or assistance. I believe that has been my passion or calling.

School Story

I have no specific stories, I have many precious memories of academic, humanistic, and athletic stories that I relish. Persons such as Roy Houston, Joe Martin, Bill Tomlinson, Steve Jesser, and so many others that I can't enumerate upon. I was surrounded by many friends and acquaintances who helped to mold my life and character. Those of you who are wondering why you don't see your names, you were quite instrumental in my life. I thank you for whatever part you played. Thank you for the fun, good, and not so good times. You have to classify your role, not me.

You are not only a quality person who cares for others and who provides humanly and medical services to those who know you. You are also a renowned physician who service many who don't know you. I am so proud to know you and to have been present to observe your awarding as an ETHS Distinguished Alumni. You had the best speech of all the recipients. They were good but you were the best.
