Remarried in 2001 to the love of my life. The first time did not go well. But after a 25 year dry spell, broken by the occasional dysfunctional relationship I went on line searching for just a date. Just someone to go out with, I knew I would never get married again.

And I struck gold. We had 20 years of the most wonderful marriage possible.Iy ended in 2021. Covid. Do not get me started on vaccines,

after getting a degree in Sociology I worked in a bunch of meaningless jobs. Decided to try something completely different and got an AA in horticulture. Been a contractor ever since. Project manager for large commercial jobs like The Chicago City Hall green roof. I have the best job in the world, I plant trees.

Or should I say had. Around 70 my body - which despite decade of neglect was doing ok, my body started to fall apart. I think I passed my "sell by" date and littlel by lettle things are starting to get, well, old.

I should not be surprised to have to survived to 77 in relatively decent helath/ Women in my family are long lived. But as I see 80 on the hprozion I still cannot believe I have been around this long. I'm just about blind and (unless I get back to therapy pretty( much cripled. However, I live in an historic building that I love, financially ok - for now. I Thank my parents, sister and brothers for bailing me out at various times. I wouildl nt be here without you.
