It was a joy sitting with you during the service for Kathy Greene's Son. It was sad but sobering in allowing us to remember how precious and unpredictable life is. I am indeed very sorry that Bonnie is no longer with us, but I am happy that she is no longer suffering with any malady that she endured.  She was always a staunch supporter of my efforts, I tried to do likewise with her.  She was a dedicated educator, genuine character, and an interactive participant on issues that made a difference.  She will truly be missed.  We were in junior high school together, high school, and we reconnected after we received our degrees in elementary education.  I respected and appreciated our friendship and relationship.  She along with a number of classmates attended the street naming in my honor.  I am very grateful for that.  My condolences to her children, family members, classmates, and friends.  I am included in the classmates and friends categories.

Dear Kevin,

Happy early birthday wishes to you. Thank you for attending the street naming ceremony. We have a lot to be grateful for. August 17th is a very special day for a number of reasons. Chief William Logan, the first African American Police Chief of Evanston will be funeralized on that day. His service will be held at Evanston Township High School, where he was a star athlete. He also worked there after his retirement from the police department. Back to you Kevin, I hope that your day is enjoyable and celebrated joyously.
